Making plans to bring a group to Reef HQ? With a little
forward planning, we will ensure your group receives absolute VIP treatment.

Guided Tours |
Complimentary guided tours for pre-booked groups of 10 people or more are available with advanced bookings. Our team of enthusiastic and committed volunteers are ready to be of service to those visitors who prefer to explore the aquarium independently. |

Reef HQ can host a variety of tailor-made courses, lectures and Behind-the-Scenes tours. With our team of expert and specialised staff within Reef HQ and the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority, we can develop a presentation on almost any topic related to the GBR. |

| Parking | Bus and coach parking is located directly outside the Reef HQ complex. Refer to the Visitor Information section of the website to view our location. |

| Reef HQ Café | Enjoy a delicious range of snacks and light meals prepared on premises in air-conditioned comfort or along the waterside. Our café can comfortably cater for up to 25 people. |

| Souvenirs | Your guests can take advantage of the large range of marine books, caps, t-shirts, aboriginal art, jewellery and giftware, for all budgets and taste in the “Reef in Store” shop. Mail facilities are available on site for sending gifts home if Reef HQ is part of a grander scale tour! |

| Suggested Itinerary | We recommend a absolute minimum visit of one hour. Upon arrival your group
will be greeted by one of our expert Reef Interpretors for a 45 minute overview
tour of Reef HQ. This will give participants an introduction to the Great
Barrier Reef and the creatures who make the Reef their home. This tour is a
perfect accompanyment to the Predator Dive Show, occuring at 11am daily or the
Predator Feeding at 3pm (Sun, Tues & Thurs). Bookings essential.
Why not tag on a visit to the Imax Dome Theatre as part of your Townsville tour? The Imax Dome Theatre is located in the Reef HQ complex. Joint Reef HQ and Imax admissions are available from Reef HQ. |
